Effective Date: 27 February 2026
Welcome to Leo's GCSEs, a service provided by Static Carnival Technologies Limited. By accessing or using our service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.
Leo's GCSEs is an online revision and study support platform that provides AI-assisted tutoring, marking, question generation, and related study tools for GCSE educational use.
Our service is a digital service that is made available to you as soon as your account is activated or your paid access begins. Under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations, you normally have a 14-day right to cancel online purchases. However, because Leo's GCSEs provides instant access to digital content and AI generation services immediately upon purchase, you expressly consent to receiving the service immediately and acknowledge that you lose your 14-day right to cancel and claim a refund once access is granted.
Paid access is provided through "Annual Passes" valid for a fixed term of 12 months. These passes do not auto-renew. Your account features, usage allowances, and available tools depend on your specific pass tier. Once the 12-month period concludes, your account will automatically revert to the "Foundation" (Free) tier unless a new Annual Pass is purchased.
Please review plan details carefully before purchase. Because this is a digital service that may be supplied immediately after purchase, and you have waived your 14-day cooling-off period, your cancellation and refund rights may be limited once supply has begun. Nothing in these Terms affects any rights you may have under applicable consumer law.
Our service uses artificial intelligence (Google Gemini augmented with our own bespoke guardrails, prompts, and code) to generate tutoring responses, feedback, marking guidance, and study support. You acknowledge that:
Leo's GCSEs is intended to support learning and revision. You agree not to use the service for academic misconduct, including generating work to submit as entirely your own where this would breach school, college, university, or examination rules.
Access to the service is subject to fair and reasonable personal educational use. You must not misuse the platform, including by automated scraping, credential sharing, account sharing, abusive usage, attempts to reverse engineer the service, or requests generated at a volume beyond normal human use. We may apply rate limits, suspend access, or terminate accounts where necessary to protect the service.
You may request deletion of your account through the application settings where this feature is made available. Additionally, if your account remains completely idle for a continuous period of 12 months, we reserve the right to initiate account deletion on your behalf. We will attempt to notify you before this occurs. When your account is deleted, your live account data within the application, including your user profile, study history, and usage records, will be permanently removed. However, limited payment, transaction, audit, fraud-prevention, and legal compliance records may be retained where reasonably required.
We may update, improve, suspend, or withdraw parts of the service where reasonably necessary, including for maintenance, security, legal compliance, or service improvement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability at all times.
To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided on an “as available” basis for educational support. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of opportunity, or loss arising from reliance on AI-generated content. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so.
